Modern Crochet Blanket Patterns

There are so many crochet blanket patterns out there, but today I wanted to share some of my favorite, modern patterns from the blog. Some of these are quicker to make than others, but they each have a unique beauty and style. Crochet blankets have come a long way since the 70’s throws (which I equally love, by the way). Here are some modern, pretty options if you’ve been itching to crochet a blanket. (Simply click the picture to head to the free pattern)

Wintertide Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern

Cabin Stripes Throw Blanket Crochet Pattern

Bobbles and crazy soft yarn make this awesome for us adults, but perfect for babes and toddlers too.

Chunky Icelandic Blanket Crochet Pattern

One of the most popular blankets on the blog, this throw works up quickly and easily.

  1. Thanks for posting this collection of crocheted blankets. I love them all! Hubby and I are still self-isolating (eight months now) and I’m afraid that it will go on for a long time. The good thing is that I’ll have time to crochet a couple of those blankets. I see the light at the end of the tunnel, when making beautiful things with hook and yarn. It’s so relaxing. Your patterns are excellent. Thank you. Mila from Sweden
