If you’re looking for a unique stitch pattern, this is for you. You’ll see the pattern below as well as a picture tutorial to help you make this beauty!

Doesn’t it almost look knit? My favorite feature is the texture! It’s SO unique, and reminds me of a feminine waffle stitch or thermal stitch.

I’m usually a chunky yarn girl, but every so often a worsted weight yarn makes it into the mix. This gorgeous Color Theory yarn is soft, lovely to work with, and there are gorgeous color options. It’s definitely a current favorite of mine.

If you follow me, you know I’m a fan of easy peasy patterns. While this pattern is easy, it’s not as easy as most of my blankets. 🙂

It features a two row repeat, so that’s simple enough, but the stitching has a bit more to it than the usual. BUT, if you’re wanting to stretch your skills a bit, this is the one!

And, you’ll find it’s very easy to customize the size. Make it as big or small as you’d like. You’ll find how to adjust the size below.

It’s pretty and squishy. Because it uses a worsted weight yarn, it’s a nice light to medium weight. It’s also got bounce to it!

The “Flora” name came from the fact that the stitch pattern gives a floral, feminine vibe. 🙂

Definitely give the pattern a try on a small swatch and see how you like it. Check out my picture tutorial below to double check yourself. So fun!

Important: Consider practicing on a small swatch before beginning the blanket. Simply chain a multiple of 3 + 1.

Size Adjustments: To adjust the width of your blanket, you will want to start with a longer or shorter chain using a multiple of 3 + 1 extra stitch.  To make your blanket longer or shorter, you’ll simply crochet more or fewer rows until your desired length is reached.
