Modern Cozy Knit Blanket Pattern Book

Last week my first blanket knitting pattern book was published on Amazon. Eek! It has several of the most popular knit blanket patterns from the blog, and it was so exciting to see it out in the wild.

Over the years I’ve had a few book deal offers, but they never made sense for me. Many of you like to have hard copies of the patterns, so it made sense to have a book, but I wasn’t sure how to make it work. There just isn’t enough time in a day, I tell ya!

Then I thought, ya know, why don’t I take the patterns that you’ve liked and put them into their own cozy little book. No big publisher or deadlines for me, and the best patterns for you. So here it is…out there for anyone who likes to hold the patterns in their hands.

And thank you for making it a success since it launched! I had no expectations about the book as I’ve certainly never done this before. It was a lot of work, shockingly, so I wasn’t totally sure if it was going to be worth my time. But now I see that it was, and many of you wanted one, so that is all that matters.

I’ve considered doing a crochet book, and thanks to each of you who have reached out to me about it. It’s definitely floating around in my mind, but I think I need a little break from book making for now. Maybe it’s something I think about again more seriously in the new year.
