Chunky colorful blanket knitting pattern
Isn’t this the coziest for cool fall and winter nights? It turned out so pretty!

I named this blanket “Fall Horizons” because the colors give off fall vibes, and autumn just has some of the prettiest sunrises and sunsets!

While I chose 7 colors for this blanket, you certainly could make it in just a couple of colors. You could even knit it in one solid color. A solid cream would be gorgeous!

The chunky Hue & Me yarn that was used for this pattern worked out so perfectly. It has amazing squish and drape, and the weight is great to throw over a couch or chair. It’s just a great blanket to use everyday, all season long!

I chose this yarn not only because it’s a great chunky option, but also because you can’t go wrong with any of the colors.

The variety of options is so fun to choose from, and you can mix and match any of them. Don’t be afraid to have fun with this color pallette and make it your own!

You know how some blankets feel too precious to actually use? This is NOT one of those blankets. While it’s beautiful, it’s sturdy and squishy and perfect to put to heavy use. I just love how it turned out!

Muted, earthy color tones make this blanket so calming.

The other cool thing about this wavy knitting pattern is that it looks complicated, but it’s SO easy to know. There is just a basic repeat, so it’s even simple enough to make in front of the t.v.

I have cozy memories of a chevron blanket that we used in the 80’s as a baby and kiddo. This has the durability of that blanket, but is modern and fresh. Yay!

Okay, check out more about it below and give the pattern a read. You’ll see how simple it is!
