I have been royally spoiled, and have another feature in this month’s issue of Homespun Magazine! It is particularly special because it is one of my all time favorite hats that I made for my daughter – her knit bunny hat.  In case you missed it, you can find the free pattern here.

Okay, I am one of those people who LOVE that Christmas seems to start earlier every year.  I LOVE that stores are stocking up on Christmas goodies in August. Ha ha! So, when I saw the cover of Homespun, it made me overjoyed that we are now 6 months from Christmas and it’s time that we can start thinking of making our special gifts and decorations.  I haven’t even begun to think of what I will be making everyone this year, but it will be fun to get creative and start to come up with some great gift ideas.  Maybe this year I can be a responsible adult and start my gifts NOW, instead of stressing come mid-December.

I wrote a bit about the magazine when my Mountains Crochet Wall Hanging was featured last month. It is truly one of the cutest mags I’ve ever seen and I highly recommend it. They did not ask me to say that, nor was I paid for them to publish my project. It is just chock-full of unique sewing, quilting, knitting and crocheting projects and inspirations in a SUPER DUPER cute format. If you want it, you can get it digitally or you can find it in Target stores and newsstands throughout Australia.

What an honor, and how fun to see my baby girl published! Eeeeeeee!

Now to start getting creative with some Christmas gift ideas. Have you started making your gifts? I’d love to hear your gift ideas and when you start making gifts.

Here’s to not starting knitted gifts on December 1st this year! Am I right?
