My Patterns In One Nice Cozy Spot!

It is still sometimes hilarious to me that I have a blog because at times I am so untechnical! There have been times I’ve worried that I am going to hit a wrong button and screw everything up. Ha!

Okay, to the point. Since I started this, I’ve wanted to have all of my patterns on one little page where people and myself can easily find them.  I wasn’t exactly sure how to do it.  Well, I sat down, googled, asked questions and it’s finally here! You can see these spots in my main menu on top of my page where it says “Free Knit Patterns” and “Free Crochet Patterns“!

Cozy Fall Day
Speaking of cozy, is this not the best time of year? So cozy. These are the aspens here in Colorado a couple of weeks ago. I believe most of the leaves have fallen off by now in the mountains.

Instead of sifting through my blog you can go to those cozy little pages on the top of the screen and see them all in one place. You know it was bad when I had to Google search my own patterns in order to find them quickly. Geez!

As I continue to post new projects, I will add them to these pages.

What do you think? Helpful? Please tell me if you think I can do anything else to make my blog a lovelier place for all. 🙂

  1. Your pages for the knit and crochet patterns looks great. Another organizing feature I use is Categories and Tags. They show up under my post title and clicking them takes you to all posts with that category/tag.

    1. I’m glad you brought up the “categories/tags” thing. I did have categories along the sidebar, but I was wondering if I had too many and it was cluttering my page? I’m still considering putting the categories back there, especially after you saying that you like to use them. Maybe I can get them a bit more condensed. Thanks for the ideas Linda!

    1. Awww, I’m so glad that you think so. Thanks a lot Lavina for taking the time to let me know! 🙂

  2. This is great, Jessie. So glad you did this. I am a loyal follower so I get your current patterns, but this is so much easier for new followers.

    1. Hi Wendy! So nice to hear from you. Thanks so much for following along with me still. Hopefully you’re right that it will be easier for new folks to see the patterns! I’m happy you think so. Hope you are enjoying the fall.

  3. Nice job!!! I have the same organization on my blog, it’s simple, beautiful and easy for followers! I have an Angie Makes theme too and I love it, the personalization it’s quite easy…is it the same for you? 🙂

    1. You have a great blog Maria. The Angie Makes themes are so pretty, for sure! It is nice to personalize it, but it’s not super easy for me. I am just not great with computers and all, but it is getting easier as I do it longer and learn more! Thanks so much for stopping by! What language is your blog in? It looks almost Italian or Portuguese? I speak Spanish, though I haven’t practiced lately and am forgetting a lot.

      1. I’m not an expert either, I love blogging because every day I learn something new! Thank you so much for visiting my blog, is in Italian! Each post is also written in English…I know that my English it’s not perfect and I probably make a lot of mistakes, but I’m trying to improve it. 🙂

        1. I agree, I learn something new everyday too. It is a whole lot of fun! Very cool that your blog is in Italian and English. You’re English is great. My husband is Polish, so I guess I could have my blog be in Polish too, but I know he would never help me with that. Ha!
