Christmas Coasters Crochet Pattern

These crocheted Christmas coasters are super easy to make, and they are quick too! With the vintage feel and festive colors, they are just a cheerful, instant gratification project.

Between all of the big projects I’m working on, it’s fun to make such quick, cute, coasters for the holidays. They work great as a gift, or just make them for your own table!

All you’ll need for this project is your scrap worsted weight yarn in Christmas colors! I had a variety on hand, so I’ve used a mix of wool and cotton yarns. It works out fine as long as the yarn that you use is the same size.

You’ll only be working double crochet stitches throughout this pattern, so it’s great for new crocheters! The coasters are worked in the round and there is no turning. Super fun.

I do prefer cotton for coasters as it is absorbant, but truly, you can use any fiber you like. No need for them to always be super absorbant!

You can be really creative with this pattern! Make the coasters in solid colors, or change colors like I did.

For a really finished look, consider blocking your coasters with a steamer! You can also use a steam iron. Don’t touch the iron to the fabric of course, but hold that steam over them to make them perfectly round and flat.

You don’t need to do this step at all, but I love how perfect mine are after a blocking!

Okay! Let’s get to this super easy pattern.
