Are any of you knitting a blanket or two as Christmas gifts? 🎁 If so......best of luck to ya! 😆 😉 Big knit blankets are no joke, and anyone who receives one is suuuper lucky and loved. ❤️

I actually planned out this squishy blanket many many months ago, so it’s pretty fun to ALMOST be able to share it! 🧶 And because knit blankets are so time consuming, I of course created it to be as quick as possible with the big needles and big yarn (Which is no surprise if you’ve followed me for a while 😄) It’s also got a fun modern texture and color, so hopefully a variety of people will appreciate it as a gift. I would! 🙋🏼‍♀️

My girl’s been on fall break until today, so we have a major case of the Mondays (on a Tuesday). But with coffee and yarn in hand, I’ll power through. ☕️ Hope you’re having a good week my friends! NEW 🍂Coziest Cable Knit Cardi - check!

Have you had a project that you’ve wanted to make for a long time, but something held you back? 🙋🏼‍♀️ This is mine.

I wanted a cable knit cardi with loose, squishy cables that was easy enough for most knitters and also quick to make. 🧶

👸 The cables took a bit of trial and error because they kept coming out too tight and looked like they belonged on the queen of England 👑 rather than my laid back sweater. 😆 But finally, they turned out big, loose and comfy.
I’m so thrilled to have this sweater for the coming fall and winter - and also super excited to share it with you. ✨

We’re moving into our new home! 🏡 🧶 Home i

We’re moving into our new home! 🏡 🧶 Home is where your yarn is, right? 😆 A journey that started 2 1/2 years ago is complete. (I’ll save you from all the boring details as to why the long journey, but an insane housing market was largely to blame)

I’ve been a bit absent from posting to my social media because moving is a lot of work 📦 (And that’s an understatement! Add in changing schools, starting online school, etc. it’s a lot)

To be in a house where we are surrounded by nature is an absolute dream for my family. 🌲 Not a moment goes by that we aren’t grateful for this opportunity. I hope it will be a place where the doors are always open and welcoming - a place of love, creativity and joy.

Thank you for your understanding as I take some time this month away from the computer, phone (and even yarn 😱) as we move and settle. I will do my best to share some IG stories of our new home and moving drama! Lol 😉I’ll be right back for an amazing fall of knit and crochet with you! (Likely many more forest + yarn pictures in the future 🌲) And, as always, thank you for all of your support, friendship and inspiration!
