All Knitting Patterns in One Place!

Free Modern Easy Knitting Patterns

Well, I updated my crochet patterns page, so it was about time to update the knitting patterns page.  🙂  You can now find ALL of them on this page HERE!  It’s kind of fun to look back at all of the projects from the last year.  Do you take pictures of your finished projects before giving them away as gifts or otherwise?

You know, this is one of the main reasons that I started this blog – to simply have a log, or keep track of the things I’ve made.  I’ve seen folks do the same thing on Ravelry and I think it’s quite neat to be able to go back and see what you’ve made.  (And to see how much you’ve improved or changed 😉 )

My favorite knitting projects so far have to still be the Native Knit Stripes Blanket, the Endless Cables Blanket, Mommy & Me Hats.  Here’s the thing though, I do not like making something more than once. Is that weird?  Once I’ve made something, I get it right out of my system and don’t want to make it again.  I admire those of you that can make the same pattern several times.  I must have some sort of attention problem!

OH – I wanted to include a little trick that I know many of you already do ( Thanks for letting me know I’m not the only one when I asked you on Facebook and Instagram!).   I’m using my circular cable needles these days as much as a possible including on most of my flat work.  It is just so much easier for me to knit, and it keeps the project from sliding off of the needles so easily.  Someone also mentioned that it’s easier and lighter to throw in your purse or bag – this is TRUTH! While many of you already do this, if you haven’t tried it, you must.

By the way, thank you for all of the new pictures that you have sent me of your projects. Wow! I’ve gotten several of them up in Your Gallery, and am working to add more.

I hope this post finds you well, friends!

Feel free to share this page with your knit’n friends that might like these patterns. 😉

  1. Since I give so many of my projects away, I try to take plenty of photos! That’s what got me involved in social media, I never really was into it before. It is fun to go back and look at everything, not just my own work, but my friends as well. That’s one reason why I follow you! Thanks so much for sharing your patterns and beautiful photos!

    1. That’s great Rebecca! I think you’ve got a good idea to snap a photo before you give away your creations. And I was just like you – wasn’t much into social media at all, but it is a great way to keep track of your projects and see others as well. Thanks for taking the time to comment Rebecca! And thanks for following me too, friend!

  2. I am a little confused with the knitted cable blanket instructions. I love this blanket and have started it but after doing about 3 rounds now I am questioning myself.. once I am done with the first set rows 1-16 do I start at row 7 and go until row 16 and then back at 7 etc? Or once I am done with row 16 do I just repeat rows 11-16. I have been doing the repeat of row 7-16. Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your help. Mary

    1. It sounds as though you are doing it right Mary – you will repeat row 7-16, 7 times. You won’t repeat the rows 11-16 only….you need to repeat the rows 7-16. I hope that it’s more clear now, and let me know if you have more questions!
